Hi, I’m El
I’ve been drawn to photography for as long as I can remember. It all started with a tiny film camera I got when I was 10 that printed 2 inch photos. What began as curiosity grew into something much deeper, shaped in part by my Dad, who shared his love of photography and introduced me to the work of incredible photographers early on.
I studied photography at Drexel University in Philadelphia, where I earned my bachelors degree.
My Approach
Through my work as a school photographer and through volunteering with people of all ability levels, I’ve seen how often people are rushed through the process, expected to perform, or made to feel like they don’t quite fit.
That’s not how it should be.
I create sessions that are customized, flexible, and centered around your comfort. Whether that means taking things slowly, adapting to sensory or mobility needs, or simply giving you space to relax; your session will be shaped around you.
You don’t need to know how to pose. You don’t need to act a certain way. You don’t need to be anything other than yourself.
What Matters to Me
I care deeply about creating an environment where people feel:
Safe
Seen
Respected
Comfortable
Beautiful
For me, this work is about more than photos, its about the experience of being in front of the camera and walking away feeling great about it.
A little more about me…
I love animals of all kinds- dogs, cats, horses, even snakes and other reptiles. I’m also a huge fan of board games and tabletop RPGs. I love the creativity, storytelling, and shared moments that come from gathering around the table with my family and friends. I bring this sense of curiosity, play, and connection, to everything that I do.
